Japanese style Katanas
These can be made in simpler blades of mono steel with a hamon or can also be made in a 1000 layer folded steel blade. The grip and fittings are all made to authentic sizes and shapes, most often using copper. The wood core of the grip is usually Maple wood and is wrapped in real stingray leather. Real silk or imitation cord can be used.
These pieces usually run from 2000 USD / R33 000 and up for a simpler version
A blade in folded steel can run from 4500 USD / R75 000 and up.

Japanese style Tanto
These can be made in simpler blades of mono steel with a hamon or can also be made in a 1000 layer folded steel blade. The grip and fittings are all made to authentic sizes and shapes, most often using copper. Real silk or imitation cord can be used.

A blade in folded steel can run from 2500 USD / R42 000 and up.
Other Historical swords
From Medieval swords to the ancient Roman Gladius - from the famous European style longswords to a naval style cutlas - All these are blades that I have made in the past. Historical inspired but open to my own innovation and embellishment. Fully functional blades that are made to authentic specs - Weight, balance etc.
These blades vary vastly in cost, and all depends on what is being made and what materials are used. Typicaly starting from 2000 USD / R33 000 and up.
Daggers, Bowies and Knives
Antique style Bowie knives, Gentleman's bowies, medieval style daggers to name but a few, these are great pieces for any collection. Historical inspired but open to my own innovation and embellishment. Fully functional blades that are made to authentic specs - Weight, balance etc. These blades vary vastly in cost, and all depends on what is being made and what materials are used. Typically starting from 700 USD / R12 000 and up.

I take orders on these Signature pieces, I do not work to customer designs...Please look at my past work to see if there is anything you like and may want to inquire about. No two pieces are ever the same and although I can take orders inspired by past work, it will be a completely new and unique creation, insuring that they are indeed EXCLUSIVE.
The Japanese style blades that I create are very specialized and uniquely different to my standard work as bladesmith, they are very labour intensive and the handle furnishings are very specialized and expensive to produce authentically. They are however simpler to recreate and take orders on and the prices are more set. Japanese style blades are always similar but with their own unique furnishings and themes.
